The hike starts at the Gasthof Thanner direct in the centrum of Brandberg. At the parking area the meadow trail starts up. But you turn left to Gasthof Steinerkogel. After a short time you get to a bituminized road. At a right sharp bend you go straight ahead through a meadow to the Steinerkogel.
