From Mayrhofen you follow the route to Stillup. At the junction turn left direction Oberkumbichl.
A path on the right leads to the Wiesenhof inn (1056m). Follow the road straight ahead until you reach a wooden footbridge. Immediately after this bridge you turn right. After this you follow the steep trail up, which takes you up through green alpine fields to the Alpenrose (1398m).
