The starting point to the Maxhütte is in Ginzling (985m). If you don’t want to walk along the route, to the beginning of the trail to the Maxhütte, use the narrow path into the Floitental. Leave this trail at the second curve and follow the path no. 522. Now follow the signs “Maxhütte” (1445m). The trail is at the beginning broad and then it always gets narrow. At the opposite of the Gunggl-Alm you can see the Maxhütte. Cross the bridge then you are in front of the Maxhütte.
Another possibility is that you drive to Ginzling direction Schlegeis with your own car. You can see some cars parking on the left and right side of the street. If there is enough space park it here and then you can see a sign “Maxhütte”.
