The trail goes initially from the Spieljochbahn mountain station to the Geolsalm mountain hut and then on to the Gartalm (1830 m upper Alpine pasture). From there the trail runs through treeless terrain (please note pathside markings – rocks or stones) to the Kellerjoch mountain hut. The Kellerjoch can boast the finest panoramic views of the Inntal valley (2,344 m). From the Kellerjoch mountain hut, take either the Alpine Path (AV 312) to the Spieljochbahn lift or return via the same route.
WARNING! If you take the return route to the Spieljochbahn lift via the Alpine Path (ALPIN-STEIG), speak first to the warden at the Kellerjoch hut. This path is ONLY for experienced, fully-equipped mountain climbers.
