From the Grüne-Wand-Hütte (1438m) go straight ahead till you come to a junction. Here turn right where the ascent begins! Through a forested area you come do a good cable lift. Before the hut from the goods cable lift, the ascent starts through a forested area to the Kasslerhütte Then you have to cross a stream. In summertimes after a thunderstorm it could be that the stream has more water than usually.
After a bridge the path continues up to the hut. Suddenly on the left side there is another path which comes from the “Sieben-Schneide-Weg”. You keep going on right. After some curves – suddenly the hut is in front of you!
Tip: You can take a shuttle bus to the Grüne-Wand-Hütte! From there you just need 2 hours!
