The trail begins at the parish church in Ginzling. Walk up-valley initially until you reach signposts on your right. The trail leads through a meadow along a stone wall and continues steeply upwards through the forest till you come to a forest road. Cross this road and follow the narrow path which leads you to a meadow. Now the path levels out to the Gasthaus Oberböden (1519m). Please bear in mind that the guesthouse is now closed to the public!
From here, you can follow the route downwards to the Gasthaus Innerböden (1519m) that is currently closed. The path leads through a short meadow and to the paved road. After a sharp left-hand bend, follow the trail through the forest until you reach the road again, which takes you back to Ginzling.
