A visit to the town of Rattenberg can be combined with a trip to what is known as the Model Cemetry. The "Deathless Cemetry" is the result of intensive efforts by the Guggenberger family, and provides a worthy place for gems of ancient handicrafts. The inscriptions inspire the visitor to reflect cheerfully and contemplatively about life and death.
